Orifice Flange Assembly

Orifice Plate complies with ISO 5167 standards in design and production. It can be used to measure flow within pipelines containing clean gas, liquid or vapor. The orifice plate is held between flanges in a wafer type configuration. This design is highly practical, as it facilitates replacement and maintenance.

 

Orifice Plate Design 300 Stainless Steel is the standard material of our orifice plate; however; we are also able to customize according to the end-user’s needs, and supply special materials such as Monel or Hastelloy. A stainless steel nameplate is affixed on the handle of the orifice plate.

 

Flow Nozzle

Flow Nozzle is designed according to ISO 5167 standards. It is durable, has a higher turndown ratio compared to generic orifice plates. Not only does it have a minimal pressure drop, it also has a large measuring range. The Flow Nozzle is especially accurate for high temperature, and high pressure steam applications.

 

300 Stainless Steel is the standard material of our Flow Nozzle; however; we are also able to customize according to the end-user’s needs, and supply special materials, such as Monel or Hastelloy. For high temperature and high pressure steam applications, the nozzle can be directly welded onto the pipe. A stainless steel nameplate is affixed on the flow nozzle body.

 

Venturi Tubes

Venturi Flowmeter is designed according to ISO 5167 standards as a differential pressure flow meter. It is not only highly accurate, but it also has a minimal pressure drop. It can be used in steam, natural gas and oil applications. Among the flowmeters complying with the ISO 5167 standard, the Venturi type requires the shortest straight lengths and also generates the least pressure drop over a long-term period.

For high temperature, and high pressure steam applications, the Venturi can be directly welded onto the pipe.

Flow Straighteners

Flow Conditioning refers to the process of artificially generating a reference, fully developed flow profile and is essential to enable accurate measurement while maintaining a cost-competitive meter standard design.

 

Seal Pots

  • Small, thin design and lightweight
  • Design allows you to combine with other valves in series for safe shutoff
  • Sizes from 1/2″ to 2″ and ANSI Class 150# up to ANSI Class 2500# flanges

 

The main purpose of the condensate pot is to catch and hold condensate and foreign material. This prevents damage to the metering system and/or manifold.

 

Condensate pots are used as a barrier between the main line and the secondary instruments in the measurement of steam or other vapors which condensate to a liquid state insuring compatibility with the secondary instruments. They can also be used to cool down very high temperature liquids.

 

Spectacle Blinds, Spades & Spacers

Spectacle blind, is made by a steel spade and spacer, united by a welded handle. Spectacle blind may have a different type of joint face (RR Raised Face, FF Flat Face, RTJ Ring Joint), depending the type of flange.

 

The spectacle blind is usually used on the oil line with two different function:

  • If the spade is put in between the flanges, it stops the fluid’s passage
  • If the spacer is put in between the flanges, the passage of the fluid is allowed.

 

The spectacle blind is inserted between two flanges: in order to guarantee a perfect watertight two gaskets are normally mounted, one on each side of spectacle blind.

 

Bleed Rings

A bleed ring, vent ring, or drip ring can provide a beneficial way of draining piping, taking samples, attaching instruments or even bleeding of a valve. They can also be used with a valve and/or blind flange, which allows you to reduce and dispose of the pressure for your valve before you remove the flange.

 

Sunshades

Maintains process accuracy by shielding instrumentation from solar heat

Sunshade provides protection for single or multiple instruments, preventing instrument calibration drift due to temperature changes caused by solar radiation.

 

Mechanical protection

Sunshade will shield instruments from the sun and provide partial protection from falling objects, rain, and windblown sand

 

UV and corrosion resistant

The blended ABS material has excellent UV and corrosion resistance.

 

Easy access to instruments

Sunshade mounts to a standard 2″ pipe stand and can be removed easily for full instrument access.
