DPM Series Applications

The ability to connect the sampler close to the sample point ensures optimal retrieval of a representative and contamination free sample.The DPM type sampler in on/off configuration allows the product to flow directly into the sampler via a two-way valve.

HD Series Applications

DPJ Series Applications

The ability to provide a jet purge adapter to a piston type sampling valve ensures optimal retrieval of a representative, contamination free sample.The DPJ type sampler in fixed volume configuration allows purging of the sample outlet of the valve to eliminate dead volume in addition to a fixed sample volume.The jet purge adapter has two flow paths.The first flow path allows the product to flow into the sample bottle and the second flow path enables the jet purge adapter to be purged with an inert gas

S23 Series Applications

The ability to create an under pressure in the sample bottle by a connection to a vacuum source ensures optimal retrieval of a representative, contamination free sample from processes at vacuum conditions or atmospheric pressure. The S32 type of sampler in back purge configuration allows a gas to purge the sampler and process connection prior to sampling ensuring a fresh sample. All S32 type of samplers offer a one handle operation by multiple valves.

S32-LG Series Applications

The ability to purge the sample point ensures optimal retrieval of a representative, contamination free sample. The S32-LG type samplers provide a system purge in addition to sampling in a sample cylinder with a predefined filling rate. The predefined filling rate is achieved by using an expansion chamber. The unique design offers a one handle operation by multiple valves. These features provide sample accuracy and safety. This sampler type is suitable for liquefied gases and liquids.

S32-G Series Applications

The S32-G type samplers provide a system purge in addition to sampling in a sample cylinder and the ability to depressurise the quick connect couplings before disconnecting the sample cylinder. The unique design offers a one handle operation by multiple valves. These features provide sample accuracy and safety.

Spares - Needle Assemblies

The needle assembly is the foundation of the DOPAK sampler for liquids. It is a housing with two integrated needles. The sample fluid enters through one needle (process) and displaced gas / vapour leaves through the other (vent).

 

The vent connection prevents a buildup of pressure in the sample container. The vent line should remain open at all times therefore placing valves or any other obstructions in the vent outlet should be avoided.To prevent any unwanted backflow of the waste system when the sampler is not in use a check valve could be installed.

 

Spares - Sleeves

Each type / size of container requires a matching sleeve. If containers of varying sizes are regularly to be used with the same system then more sleeves could be supplied and interchanged. Other solutions for supporting the bottles can be made available upon request.

The protective sleeve improves safety in the widest sense:

  • the needles are protected against mechanical damage;
  • the operator is shielded against the sharp needles;
  • the sleeve ensures guidance of the bottle ensuring an
  • optimum seal between septum and needles;
  • the bottle is supported and shielded during sampling;
  • the operator does not have to hold the bottle

 

Spares - No Bottle No Flow (VTO-NBNF)

The unique design of the Dopak No Bottle No Flow (VTO-NBNF) is based on the conventional Dopak VTO needle assembly and includes a facility to prevent flow without a Dopak bottle with cap and a septum in place.

 

The VTO-NBNF is a safety feature which can be implemented in both new and existing Dopak samplers.

 

  • No flow of product without a sample bottle into place
  • Secondary shut-off valve (normally closed)
  • Implementable in existing Dopak samplers

 

The bottle interlock system ensures closure of the needle assembly even if the handle is in “sample” position.Due to the special design the VTO-NBNF enforces the use of a sample bottle with cap and a septum. This way leakage or spillage of the medium is prevented and zero emission accomplished.

 

The VTO-NBNF provides optimal protection for the operator and the environment and is easy to use.

 

Spares - Handles

Different types of handles have been developed, serving the market’s demand for more safety and ergonomics. Dopak spring return handles are suited for almost all valves used in Dopak sampling systems and significantly improve operator safety. When the handle is released, the sample valve returns to the “off” position.

 

Adding a Dopak spring return handle means improved safety for the operator and the environment.So depending on your specific functionality, the following range of Dopak spring return handles for the sampling system can be offered:

 

  • SR 0-90 operation – Manually operated 90° and when released, (spring) forced to off
  • SR 0-180 operation – Manually operated 180° and when released, (spring) forced to off
  • SR 90-0-90 operation – Manually operated 90° left or right and when released, (spring) forced to off
  • SR 90 (fixed)-0-90 operation – When the handle is pulled out, the spring turns 90° for any required time.Then can be manually operated 180° and when released, spring (forced) to off.

Spares - Sample Cylinders

An extensive range sample cylinders are available, suited for sample collection, safe transport and chromatographic lab analysis. The sample cylinders are available in different volumes and material of construction. Cylinders are used for samples with high vapour phase, gas and liquefied gas.

 

Standard sample cylinders are equipped with a needle valve on each side of the cylinder, a set of quick connect couplings and a carrying handle. Depending on which type of sampling system the cylinders are used, an outage tube, an additional safety cylinder or bypass line can be fitted onto the sample cylinder. Also safety features for overpressure protection such as a relief valve or a rupture disc are optional. Internal cylinder surfaces can be glass coated or coated with PTFE to provide a nonstick surface, which aids in cleaning.

Spares - Valves

The valve is the crucial part of any sampling system. Based on the process conditions we will select the right valve for the application (both physically and chemically compatible).

 

A wide range of valves (both make and type) can be used in Dopak samplers, such as needle valves,instrumentation ball valves and process (in-line) valves. Many of the valves are able to meet the standards required (e.g. NACE, Tüv), and are available in threaded and/or flanged connections (ANSI, ASME, DIN).
